Clan N0torious' Ranking System
Description:
Our ranking system is a military styled ranking system. We people get promoted and people can get demoted. People with higher ranks
shall be treated with more respect than someone with a lower rank. Not to say that people with higher ranks can abuse the powers they
receive as higher ranks. If this should occur let someone of an even higher rank know and they can take the action needed. Higher ranking
people can ask other people in the clan to help them with their assigned tasks but can't force others to do their work for them. Do not accept
a promotion if you can't fulfill the duties that come with said promotion. We at clan N0torious take our roles very seriously and take the
duties that each officer is required to seriously.
It is required that you show your rank on your name. Example: }N0t{ ReVivAL [Gnrl]. The [Gnrl] must be worn at all times. If you are in the
Xbox live/PSN part of the clan you can put this in your description because you could be promoted at any time.
How do I earn a promotion?:
By being an active, mature, and helpful member. If you prove that you can handle the responsibilities of becoming and officer then you will
get promoted. Certain Officers are given the capability of promoting and some can't which you will discover when you read through the rank
descriptions.
Getting promotions in the officer rankings (anything Sergeant and above) will be done formally. The promoter and the promotee must meet
in the N0torious group channel (on steam) and the Lieutenant Colonel must be present to witness the promotion. Then an announcement
will be made, by the Lieutenant Colonel, over the N0torious group channel and in the forums of our website stating that the promotion has
taken place and to congratulate the newly promoted member. Before the newly promoted member leaves his position he must find some
one to replace his position. This is the only way some one who does not have the promote abilities can promote some one (in a way).
Other notes:
You are given only the capabilities that your rank description says. No more, No less. You can only do what it says you can do. The only
ranks that can do anything are all of the Generals. Which is very hard to become. No promotions will be given just because you think you
deserve it. You must earn it and the person who is in authority to give you the promotion must feel that you deserve and are capable of
handling said duties/promotion. If you have problems with this system then you don't have to join or if you're a member you can leave. This

Ranks:
4 Star General [Gnrl]: Leaders of the clan. Have final say in all clan actions and decisions. Can promote/demote and
change any part of the clan that they see fit. The people to go to if you are unsure of anything. They are owners of our
servers and founders of the clan.
Lieutenant General [Gnrl]: Get free level 4 admin! This admin is not the full versions the 4 Stars have but you will be
given basic abilities. Any and all Generals are allowed in the meetings that are held to discuss the state of the clan and
discuss what changes need to be made to the clan. They can promote/demote any level bellow them including the
Generals bellow them. Any questions at all should be brought to them and they should be able to handle. Have full
access to the website and to anything else they should require access to.

Generals bellow them. Any questions at all should be brought to them and they should be able to handle. Have full
access to the website and to anything else they should require access to.
Colonel [Clnl]: Manages the website. This individual must be very trust worthy and doesn't need to have Web Design
skills although it is a plus. He will mainly manage editing the News and Roster parts of the site. Overall in charge of
adding new recruits to the website. This person also must keep on top of all promotions in clan and make sure they get
added to the site. Level 2 admin and can join in discussion State of clan discussion. Officer in N0torious group page.
Can recruit.
Lieutenant Colonel [Lclnl]: Has to be present for promotions in the N0torious clan channel tells the Colonel of all
promotions that have happened within the clan. Must work directly with the Colonel in any assistance he might need.
Level 2 admin and can join in State of clan discussion. Officer in N0torious group page. Can recruit.
Major [Mjr]: Can promote from Sergeant Major all the way through Captain. He can't promote above his own rank and
can't go below the Sergeant Major. Gets level 2 admin and joins in the State of clan discussion. Officer in N0torious
group page. Can recruit.
Captain [Capt]: First to receive Level 2 admin. This is the most basic admin and is the lowest rank of officers to receive
free admin. No one below will receive admin below this point for free and even with this free admin there will still be
benefits to purchasing admin. Officer in N0torious group page. Can recruit.
1st Lieutenant [1Ltn]: Allowed to Join state of the clan discussions. 1st is only a step higher then 2nd but there is no
real difference other then the fact that you are a rank higher. Officer in N0torious group page. Can recruit.
2nd Lieutenant [2Ltn]: First of the officers allowed to join in the state of the clan discussions. Officer in N0torious
group page. Can recruit.
Master Warrant Officer [Mwo]: Is the first officer to receive "officer in N0torious group page". Is in charge of keeping
order on the group page and banning/kicking people from the page/forums. So he will be able to kick people from the
clan. He will have full access to the group page so he can manage it properly. He does not receive admin but can make
the decision to ban someone with a well written reason why that person should be banned from the server then turns it
into any higher officer with the authority to ban. Must tell Colonel when any changes to the Roster must be made
because of someone being kicked. Can recruit.
Warrant Officer 3 [Wo]: There is no difference between all Warrant Officers. They all discuss and vote on wether some
one can get kicked/banned from the clan/server. They have the power to unban some one if the Master Warrant Officer
ban/kicks someone from the clan and they feel it was unjust or that person has proven himself to have changed. It is a
required 2/3 vote to ban someone and a required 3/3 vote to unban someone. Can recruit.
Warrant Officer 2 [Wo]:There is no difference between all Warrant Officers. They all discuss and vote on wether some

Sergeant Major [5Srg]: Can promote anyone below him up to Master Sergeant. Must abide by the rules of promotion
stated up above and must feel that the person can handle the responsibility of the promotion. He can also demote
beneath him as well but it must be approved by the Master Sergeant as well. Can recruit.
Master Sergeant [4Srg]: Is the first in line to become Sergeant Major in the event that the Sergeant Major is promoted
or leaves the clan. He can also advise promotions or demotions to the Sergeant Major. Can recruit.
Sergeant First Class [3Srg]: It is this persons job to actively go out and try and recruit people. They can direct people
where to go and can enlist people in the clan and must tell the Colonel of new recruits in order for the Colonel to
maintain the website. Must make sure to ask the 6 questions required to join the clan and submit it all to the Colonel or
higher. Can recruit.
Staff Sergeant [2Srg]: It is this persons job to actively go out and try and recruit people. They can direct people where
to go and can enlist people in the clan and must tell the Colonel of new recruits in order for the Colonel to maintain the
website. Must make sure to ask the 6 questions required to join the clan and submit it all to the Colonel or higher.
Sergeant [1Srg]:First level of officer. Authority over people below. This is the first officer position.
Corporal [Cpl]: This is the first level of people that can finally recruit. That however doesn't mean that it is their job to.
They don't actively have to but they now have the capability to. They have to make sure they ask the 6 questions in
order to get all of the information needed. Go to the "How to join" page if you have further questions about recruiting.
Specialist [Spl]:Have proven to be active and helpful to the clan. Express an interest in carrying more responsibilities
and want to help in the clan.
Private 1st Class [1Pvt]: Have proven themselves to be active. Finally have to start wearing their rank.
Private: Just recruited. New to the scene and has yet to prove themselves as active members. You can't recruit and you
can't really do much. However you are a part of the clan and can enjoy being a part of it.
